O’ Carolan College is a multi-denominational, co-educational post primary school under the patronage of LMETB, a leader in educational provision and the patron of the largest range of schools and educational programmes in counties Louth and Meath.

Students at O’Carolan College will feel a sense of belonging and will develop a love of learning through a positive and happy school experience. Our students will be motivated and provided with opportunities to become active and responsible participants in their own learning.

Today, our school caters to over 740 students and has grown into a dynamic and vibrant community. Strong communication and partnerships with all community members are a pillars of our ethos. We offer the full range of curricular programmes, including an optional Transition Year programme. In addition, we provide a wide array of extracurricular activities, such as athletics, basketball, football, hurling, rugby, and soccer.
